Ben Wyrick is a runner and photographer based in the Appalachian foothills of Virginia. Ben cut his teeth in SVHS edit bays and has a passion for running and filming in the tallest mountains he can find. After a 41-hour finish in the 2016 Hardrock 100 ultramarathon, Ben returned the following year to direct a 29-minute documentary about the run titled Animas Means Soul. The project features race footage as well as interviews with elite athletes such as Kilian Jornet and Darcy Piceu.
