BREEDBEELD kortfilmfestival

- Je woont en/of studeert in Vlaanderen en/of Brussel.
- Je kortfilm (fictie, documentaire, animatie of experimenteel) is afgewerkt na augustus 2025. Inzendingen die ouder zijn, worden niet overwogen voor selectie.
- Je kortfilm duurt maximum 30 minuten.
- De middelen van je productie staan los van de steun van Screen Flanders, VAF, TAX Shelter of productiehuis. Alle andere vormen van steun zijn WEL toegestaan.

- Je film is ondertiteld: bij voorkeur in het Engels, anders in het Nederlands.
- Je bent houder van alle auteursrechten, ook op de muziek. De organisatie aanvaardt geen enkele verantwoordelijkheid voor mogelijke inbreuk op auteursrecht.

Deadline voor inzenden is 11 augustus 2026.
Er wordt geen bevestiging gestuurd voor je inzending. Alle deelnemers zullen in september via mail op de hoogte gebracht worden over de selectie voor het festival.

Bij selectie stuur je ons: je film (bv via MyAirBridge, zowel een screener in .mov of .mp4 en een DCP), een Nederlandstalige synopsis, enkele stills, een poster en de bevestiging of je aanwezig zal zijn voor een kort nagesprek tijdens het festival.

- Bij deelname geef je ons de toelating de ingezonden kortfilm vooraf te delen met de jury, die deze strikt en alleen voor haar juryopdracht gebruikt.
- De geselecteerde films worden beoordeeld door een jurypanel samengesteld door BREEDBEELD. Tegen de beslissing van de jury is geen beroep mogelijk en er wordt niet over gecorrespondeerd.
- BREEDBEELD kan niet verantwoordelijk gesteld worden in geval van wijzigingen of annulering van het festival wegens overmacht.
- Alle aangelegenheden die niet in het reglement voorzien zijn, worden aan BREEDBEELD voorgelegd. Zij neemt daarover een definitieve beslissing.
- Door deel te nemen verklaar je in te stemmen met het reglement en je eraan te onderwerpen.

- You live and/or study in Flanders and/or Brussels.
- Your short film (fiction, documentary, animation or experimental) was completed after August 2025. Entries older than this will not be considered for selection.
- Your short film has a length of no more than 30 minutes.
- The resources for your production are independent of support from Screen Flanders, VAF, TAX Shelter or a production company. All other forms of support are permitted.

- Your film is subtitled: preferably in English, otherwise in Dutch.
- You hold all copyrights, including those for the music. The organisation accepts no responsibility for any possible copyright infringement.

The deadline for submissions is 11 August 2026. No confirmation will be sent for your submission. All participants will be notified by email in September about the selection for the festival.

If selected, please send us: your film (e.g. via MyAirBridge, both a screener in .mov or .mp4 and a DCP), a synopsis in Dutch, a few stills, a poster and confirmation of your attendance for a short discussion during the festival.

- By participating, you give us permission to share the submitted short film with the jury in advance, who will use it strictly and solely for their jury assignment.
- The selected films will be judged by a jury panel composed by BREEDBEELD. The jury's decision is final and no correspondence about the decision will be given .
- BREEDBEELD cannot be held responsible in the event of changes or cancellation of the festival due to force majeure.
- All matters not covered by the rules will be submitted to BREEDBEELD, which will make a final decision.
- By participating, you declare that you agree to the rules and will abide by them.
