5. Films will be pre-selected by a team consisting of BLON organisers and experts from the local industry.
6. Submitted films may be selected for screening both in and out of competition. Each selected filmmaker will be contacted separately to confirm the screening.
7. Each film can be submitted only once.

12. By submitting a film, filmmakers grant the festival the right to screen it as part of the official programme, in physical format in multiple locations across Lithuania. While the festival currently does not include online screenings, this may be considered in the future—with prior notification and agreement from the filmmaker.
13. For promotional purposes, excerpts of the film can be broadcasted free of charge on TV, in cinema theatres, and/or on the Festival digital channels (website, social networks). The excerpts cannot exceed 3 minutes or a maximum of 10% of the total length of the film.
14. Once a film has been selected and invited to participate in the Festival, it cannot be withdrawn from the Festival programme.
15. Submission fees are non-refundable.
16. After the Festival, for one year period and in agreement with the rights holders, the Festival presents non-commercial screenings of festival highlights.
17. With the submission, the Festival is allowed to process the given data for the purpose of handling the Festival and its archive. This consent is the legal basis for the data processing (according to the GDPR—General Data Protection Regulation of the European Union). The data will only be stored as long as necessary for the above-mentioned purpose.
18. Results for BLON Animation and Games Festival are due by the 23rd. Only selected contestants will be contacted.
19. BLON Festival is officially recognized as a BAFTA Qualifying Festival. This means that British short animations selected for screening at BLON may be eligible for consideration in the British Short Animation category of the BAFTA Film Awards. For more information on eligibility, visit BAFTA’s official website.
20. Participation in the Festival, and its film submission process, implies acceptance, without reservation, to the terms of the present regulations. An entry form is valid without a signature and a seal.
