Banjara International Touring Film Festival (BITFF) is a touring film festival designed to expand the reach, visibility, and global presence of independent filmmakers beyond a single city or screening. Operated from California, USA, the festival is organized and promoted by MPLUS GROUP LLC and follows a filmmaker-first, globally accessible approach.
Founded by the team behind the Navi Mumbai International Film Festival (NMIFF), BITFF builds on years of international festival programming experience while introducing a renewed touring-by-design vision and a more focused, selective awards structure.
BITFF follows a hybrid festival model, combining online access with carefully curated physical screenings and touring showcases. This approach allows selected films to benefit from extended visibility while remaining accessible to filmmakers worldwide.
The festival welcomes short and feature-length films across all genres, including fiction, documentary, animation, experimental, and AI-assisted cinema. Films are evaluated based on storytelling strength, cinematic quality, originality, and overall impact within their respective formats.
BITFF presents The Aureate Awards, its official honors recognizing excellence in independent cinema. Awards include trophies, certificates, and select cash prizes, as announced by the festival.
