Busan International AI Short Film Awards & Showcase(BIAFA) is a monthly online international film festival and showcase dedicated to works created using generative AI technologies.

In today’s rapidly evolving filmmaking landscape, this festival recognizes AI not merely as a tool, but as a new medium for storytelling and expression. Its mission is to discover and present next-generation cinematic works where creativity and technology converge.

The festival office is located near the Busan Cinema Center in Haeundae, Busan, South Korea—one of the key hubs of the Korean film industry, where the Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) and Busan International Short Film Festival (BISFF) are held annually.
