"BA en corto" means "Buenos Aires in short", and it's a Film Festival dedicated to showcasing and promoting short films from around the world. Bringing people of all walks of life together, we put special interest in diversity, aesthetics and narrative. We celebrate cinema as a universal and common language and we welcome all genres, styles and themes. Our goal is to support independent and professional filmmakers at an international level and share their stories through in-person and online screenings, from Argentina to the entire world.

Official Laurels and Diploma for the best of each category. All Selected films will receive the Official Selection Laurel and can request a Certificate of participation.

1- The entry fee is per submission and fees are non-refundable.
2- There is no limit on the number of submissions that can be done, but multiple submissions must be provided as individual submissions, completing one form per film.
3- The duration of the short films must be between 1 and a maximum of 25 minutes, depending on the category in which they are registered. One minute for the 1-minute Short Film, between 1 and 10 minutes for the Narrative, Animation Experimental and Documentary Short Film, and between 10 and 25 minutes for the Long Short Narrative and Documentary Film. Short films exceeding 25 minutes in duration will not be accepted.
4- If selected, submissions in any language other than Spanish must be subtitled.
5- The individual or corporation submitting the film hereby warrants that it is authorized to commit the film for screening, in all venues (online included) and dates yet to be designated for the BA en corto Film Festival screening and understands and accepts these requirements and regulations. The undersigned shall indemnify and hold harmless the BA en corto Film Festival from and against any and all claims, liabilities, losses, damages, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees, and costs of the court) which may be incurred by reason of any claim involving copyright, trademark, credits, publicity or screening of the videos entered.
6- The BA en corto Film Festival is hereby granted the right to utilize an excerpt of 2 minutes from any film submitted and accepted for exhibition at the Festival for promotional purposes.
7- The BA en corto Film Festival retains the power to decide on all matters not specifically dealt with in these regulations.
