Support and Sponsorship
The 1st edition of the “Atlas Next Frame Festival,” or the International Student Animation Film Festival of Casablanca, organized by the association Rasm’Art, will take place in Casablanca from June 4 to 6, 2026.
Rasm’Art is a Moroccan association operating in the field of visual arts and creative industries. Its missions are structured around two main areas: culture and training. Rasm’Art benefits from the support of the INDH, the Drosos Foundation, and the French Institute of Casablanca.
General Eligibility Conditions
2.1 Type of Work
Submitted films must be animated works (2D, 3D, stop-motion, mixed techniques, etc.). Eligible formats include short films and animated series episodes.
2.2 Production Origin
Films may be independent projects, school films, or professional productions. Registration is limited to 8 films per school or institute.
Incomplete films (work in progress) may be considered provided they are sufficiently advanced to be evaluated and that the applicant commits to completing them by January 1, 2027.
In this case, please clearly indicate in the title and at the beginning of the film that it is a WIP.
Subtitles
If the original language of the film is not Arabic, Darija, French, or English, the submitted film must include English or French subtitles to ensure understanding.
2.4 Fees
No submission fee is required.
Competition Categories
Films may be submitted in one of the following categories:
3.1 The Horizon
What: Awards the best film across all categories in the international selection.
Production Date: The film must have been produced within the two years preceding the competition year.
Description: Highlights excellence in recent international animation, valuing creativity, originality, and technical mastery.
Prize: 20,000 MAD
3.2 The Factory
What: Jury’s favorite award for a Moroccan work.
Production Date: The film must have been produced within the two years preceding the competition year.
Description: Showcases national talent and energizes the local animation industry by promoting cultural and narrative specificities unique to the territory.
Prize: 5,000 MAD + production development support
3.3 The Gaze
What: Award for WIP formats.
Production Date: The film must have been produced within the two years preceding the competition year.
Description: Highlights excellence in recent national animation.
Prize: Production development support
Submission Process
4.1 Platform
Films must be submitted exclusively through the online platform.
4.2 Form
The online registration form must be fully and correctly completed, including:
Film title (original and French/English title if applicable)
Director’s name
Exact running time
Main production country
Year of production
Technique (dropdown menu selection)
Category (dropdown menu selection)
Synopsis (maximum 250 words) in French or English
Secure and private screening link (Vimeo, YouTube, etc.) with password if necessary. This link must remain valid and accessible at least until the end date of the festival.

4.3 Deadline
No submissions will be accepted after the official submission deadline.
Technical Submission Format
5.1 Video File
The film must be submitted as a digital file.
5.2 Accepted Formats
.mp4 (H.264 codec recommended) or .mov
5.3 Resolution
Minimum required resolution: 1920x1080 pixels (Full HD)
Rights and Authorizations
6.1 Rights Guarantee
The applicant guarantees that they hold all necessary rights and authorizations (copyright, music rights, image rights, third-party rights, etc.) for the submitted work and for its screening within the framework of the festival. The ANFF cannot be held responsible in the event of a dispute.
6.2 Screening Authorization
By submitting the film, the applicant grants ANFF a non-exclusive and free authorization to screen the work to the public strictly within the framework of the festival’s official screenings (in theaters and/or via a secure streaming platform dedicated to the festival, if applicable).
Selection and Notification
7.1 Selection Committee
Films are reviewed and selected by a selection committee appointed by ANFF.
7.2 Notification
Only applicants of selected films will be contacted by email. The list of selected films will also be published on the festival’s communication platforms.
7.3 Final Decision
The decisions of the selection committee are final and non-appealable.
Screening and Promotion
8.1 Screening
Selected films will be screened during the festival under the best possible technical conditions. The final screening format will be determined by the festival.
8.2 Promotion
The applicant authorizes ANFF to use free of charge:
Excerpts from the film (maximum 3 minutes, generally less than 30 seconds for trailers) for the promotion of the festival and the official selection.
Information and promotional material provided (synopsis, director’s biography/filmography, film stills, poster) for the catalog, website, social media, press, and any other communication material related to the festival.
Acceptance of the Regulations
Submitting a film to the Atlas Next Frame Festival implies full and unconditional acceptance of these regulations by the applicant.
