A very cool fest in a historic Vaudeville theater! The community is enthusiastic for horror movies and they cheer for each film! With luck Astoria will be a great spot for the horror film community.

  • I screened VINES at the 2nd annual festival and it was such a delightful time.

The audience in the small historical theater was THERE FOR HORROR! Loved it. Gasps, cheers, and all-around good vibes from the folx there to celebrate horror cinema. Met folx who had driven from Portland for the fest as well as people on vacation who saw advertising and decided to pop in for a good time.

A ton of amazing shorts from around the world including many greats I've seen on the festival circuit this past year. Nate was a warm and welcoming presence at the fest. Astoria is a cute little seaside town and was a nice vacation fest where I got to enjoy cinema and the local seaside town.

Can't wait to see this festival grow in the years to come!
