Arunachalam Vaidyanathan is an Indian-American film director, producer and screenwriter of feature films, short films and television dramas
Directed his first full-length feature film in Tamil, ”Achchamundu! Achchamundu!”, which released in July 2009. The film played in various international film festivals like Shanghai International film festival, Cairo film festival, Goa film festival and won best feature in Chennai international film festival.
Directed Kerala’s superstar Mohanlal in a Malayalam political satire film Peruchazhi in 2014. This film was a box office hit.

Wrote and directed a Tamil Crime Thriller “Nibunan” which released in 2016 with ‘Action King’ Arjun in the lead. The film made box office profits, and was also lapped up by Netflix initially. Now its streaming in Aha streaming platform.

He also produced Kalyana Samayal Saadham which was a cult comedy in Tamil film and later remade in Hindi as Shubh Mangal Saavdan.
