Artiver values human creativity and creative direction. Submissions should reflect meaningful creative input, artistic judgment, or conceptual direction from the participant.
3. Ownership and Rights
Participants retain ownership of their submitted works.
By submitting, participants confirm that they have the necessary rights, permissions, licenses, and clearances to submit the work, including rights related to images, video, music, audio, text, characters, likenesses, third-party materials, datasets, prompts, and any other elements included in the work.
Participants are solely responsible for any copyright, trademark, publicity rights, privacy rights, licensing, or other legal issues related to their submissions.
4. License Granted to Artiver
By submitting, participants grant Artiver, its partners, sponsors, media partners, and authorized representatives a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, publish, distribute, promote, and showcase submitted works, artist names, project titles, descriptions, images, clips, trailers, stills, and related materials for purposes related to the Artiver AI Art Awards, Artiver exhibitions, online showcases, promotional campaigns, social media, press, marketing, archival use, and future event promotion.
This license does not transfer ownership of the submitted work to Artiver.
5. Submission Requirements
Submissions must be submitted through the official submission platform or approved Artiver submission channels.
Participants must provide accurate and complete information. Artiver reserves the right to request additional information, verification, files, or documentation related to any submission.
Submissions that are incomplete, inaccessible, corrupted, misleading, or submitted in the wrong category may be rejected or disqualified at Artiver’s discretion.
6. Content Restrictions
Submissions must not contain unlawful, defamatory, hateful, harassing, threatening, or intentionally harmful content.
Submissions must not include content that infringes upon the rights of any third party, including copyrighted characters, logos, trademarks, celebrity likenesses, private individuals, or protected works, unless the participant has obtained all necessary rights and permissions.
Artiver reserves the right to reject or remove any submission that it determines, in its sole discretion, to be inappropriate, offensive, unsafe, infringing, misleading, or inconsistent with the mission of the awards.
7. Categories and Awards
Participants may submit to one or more eligible categories, subject to the applicable entry fees and submission requirements.
Artiver reserves the right to move a submission to a different category if the team determines that another category is more appropriate.
Award categories, prize amounts, recognition titles, judging structure, finalist selection, winner selection, and showcase opportunities may be adjusted based on submission quality, sponsor participation, operational considerations, and the final structure of the 2026 program.
Artiver is not required to select a winner for every category or award if the submitted works do not meet the expected standard of quality, originality, or eligibility.
8. Judging
Submissions may be reviewed by Artiver’s internal team, invited judges, advisors, partners, or other selected reviewers.
Judging may consider factors including but not limited to creativity, originality, artistic direction, technical execution, relevance to the category, emotional impact, visual or experiential quality, storytelling, innovation, and overall artistic merit.
All judging decisions are final.
9. Entry Fees and Student Discount
Entry fees are non-refundable.
Student discounts may be available for eligible students. Participants using a student discount may be required to submit with a valid .edu email address or provide proof of current student status.
Artiver reserves the right to verify student eligibility and reject, adjust, or disqualify discounted submissions that do not meet the student eligibility requirements.
10. Refund Policy
All submission fees are final and non-refundable, including but not limited to submissions that are withdrawn, rejected, disqualified, submitted to the wrong category, or not selected as finalists or winners.
11. Event Format and Schedule
Artiver reserves the right to modify event dates, deadlines, announcement dates, judging timelines, prize timelines, exhibition plans, screening formats, online showcases, physical event locations, and overall event format at any time due to operational needs, venue availability, sponsor participation, safety concerns, force majeure events, or other circumstances.
Any major updates will be communicated through Artiver’s official channels when possible.
12. Prizes
Prize amounts and award benefits may vary based on final award structure, sponsor participation, eligibility, and operational considerations.
Participants are responsible for any taxes, fees, reporting obligations, or other costs associated with receiving prizes.
Artiver may require winners to provide additional information, tax forms, payment information, identity verification, or signed documentation before prize distribution.
If a selected winner cannot be contacted, does not respond within the required timeframe, fails to provide required information, or is found to be ineligible, Artiver may select an alternate winner or withhold the prize.
13. Publicity
By submitting, participants agree that Artiver may use their name, artist name, project title, biography, submitted materials, images, videos, clips, and statements for award-related promotion, press, social media, exhibitions, online showcases, and marketing purposes.
14. Withdrawal
Participants may request to withdraw their submission, but submission fees remain non-refundable. Withdrawal does not automatically remove already-published promotional, archival, or showcase materials, though Artiver may review reasonable removal requests.
15. Disqualification
Artiver reserves the right to disqualify any submission or participant that violates these Rules & Terms, provides false or misleading information, infringes third-party rights, engages in fraudulent activity, manipulates voting or judging processes, or acts in a way that harms the integrity of the awards.
16. Limitation of Liability
Participants submit at their own risk. Artiver is not responsible for technical errors, platform issues, lost files, corrupted uploads, unauthorized use by third parties, or any claims arising from a participant’s submission.
