What we do: Exploring stories through an intersectional lens, centering experiences of women, and our gender non-conforming, non-binary, genderqueer and transgender communities.

Our Mission: Through the medium of film, Arizona Women’s Film Festival promotes a world where people thrive as healthy, equal, and integrated members of all communities while fostering respect, inclusiveness, and integrity.

Set in the incredible mountain town of Flagstaff Arizona, and in collaboration with Flagstaff Mountain Film Festival, we have been curating an event that is loved by the community and centers some of the most powerful stories you will ever see.

We run this event during October, which is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and all our profits go to organizations that support, provide safety and advocacy to those that have experienced this trauma. We are proud to support Victim Witness Services for Northern Arizona for the second year running.

Their Mission: We envision a just, equitable world in which all people are safe and free to be their fully realized selves in communities rooted in love, dignity and joy. The mission of Victim Witness Services is to be a source of healing, empathy and support to people and communities that have experienced trauma.

This is a labor of love for the team, and has grown so much in these five years! Stay tuned for panel announcements and special guests!

The Arizona Women's Film Festival is wonderful! They are incredibly welcoming to all the visiting filmmakers, and hosted a couple of networking and social events in tandem with the festival, which really added to the experience.
