Arabian Film Festival (AFF) is an annual film festival organized by Ebdaa Foundation for Arts and Culture in Egypt.

1th edition will take place 29 April - 4 May 2023 in Sharm El-Sheikh International Convention Center.

Rules & Terms

Accepts categories of feature films, shorts films, animated, documentary from Arab world.

- The festival accepts films produced must be produced after Jan 2020 and beyond.
- Duration of feature films (which are longer than 60 minutes).
- Duration of documentary films (more than 52 minutes).
- Duration of animated films (less than 52 minutes).
- Duration of short films (less than 45 minutes).
- Duration of student films (less than 35 minutes).
The applicant in this competition shall send proof that his film is a project for his graduation, or that he is still a student or studying cinema in any official institution, or otherwise.

The film applicant must send an approval allowing the festival to use the promotional video of his film as part of the festival's advertising materials.

- The film must not have been screened on any TV or sat channel,(except for festivals’ screenings).
- The films are selected by an official invitation from AFF.
- AFF reserve the right at its sole description to decide on the screening scheduling time of the film.
- Once the film has been selected and the rights owner has confirmed its participation and screening at AFF, the film cannot be withdrawn from the festival.
- All films submitted to FilmFreeway must be in the form of an online-screener or Vimeo link. If a link is password protected, then the password must be valid through April 20, 2023, otherwise your submission will be considered INVALID and will be DISQUALIFIED.
