I am a filmmaker and storyteller. A dreamer and a doer.

My work exists between reality and construction, often blurring the line between documentary and fiction, guided less by format than by a search for meaning. Across more than 20 years, I’ve worked on projects on every continent but Antarctica, drawing from movement, displacement and observation. Always focused on the human side of things.

Nominated and awarded by the Portuguese Film Academy, with premieres at festivals such as DocLisboa and Fantasporto, my films move beyond narrative convention toward something more essential.
