    Thank you for inviting BYE to your festival.
    BYE is an independent act of cinematic resistance. Created with no governmental or commercial funding, the film openly confronts the messianic and fascist government that has seized control of my country, and the violent dismantling of democracy, civil rights, and free expression.
    This film exists because silence is no longer an option. It must be screened widely, while resistance is still possible.
    Thank you for giving space to political cinema and to voices that refuse to be silenced.
