  • Excellent festival! Kevin North cares about film and filmmakers and this festival really showed this. A wide variety of films chosen from all over the world. And a solid student showcase from local high school and college talent. AVC is truly lucky to have him and this festival. Well done. Will submit again in with future projects!

Participating in the Antelope Valley Film Festival was an inspiring and deeply gratifying experience. I was honored that my documentary, Notes on a Page, was selected for screening. The festival's recognition of our dual message—encouraging filmmakers to find their unique voice and emphasizing the power of storytelling, irrespective of budget or resources—resonated strongly with my intent to connect specifically with a college audience.

One of the highlights was the festival's thoughtful approach in facilitating my remote participation from the East Coast. Being able to beam in virtually for the post-screening Q&A created a meaningful connection, allowing for engaging dialogue and interaction with attendees despite geographical distances. This inclusive spirit made the entire experience even more rewarding.

The Antelope Valley Film Festival stands out for its genuine commitment to uplifting filmmakers and fostering community through storytelling. I wholeheartedly recommend this festival to filmmakers seeking a supportive and enriching platform to showcase their work.
