Welcome to the 7th Edition of the Animalis Fabula Film Festival! #1 on FilmFreeway - The Animal Story Film Festival - AniFab has 400,000 animal loving patrons who want to see your movie about or involving animals!

A huge issue in story telling through film, is how we include animals in the story. Animals are all around us, all the time. How do you represent them in the story? Are they represented? A good filmmaker will find ways to include the living universe that surrounds the world people live in every day. It makes the stories more authentic.

We love movies, and animals, and people, and most of all, We love them all together! We even made a little welcome movie for you here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kCVAnZ5pHis

AniFab submission fees are exactly the same every deadline. The advantage for submitting early is that your chances of being selected for a monthly award greatly increases at the beginning of the season when fewer filmmakers are submitting. AniFab gives your movie more ways to be seen, and to win. MONTHLY! Win awards, win reviews, and win an audience. Submit your film for these opportunities:

- To be selected and considered for a monthly award - see below (projects not selected will receive their judges score cards)
- To be selected and considered for our annual award at the live festival at the end of the year in Austin, Texas
- To be accepted into the benefactors showcase with Show & Tell online in December

We love movies so much, we're going to select winners every month that get to have their own private judging audience and compete for awards and to appear in the live / online hybrid festival in November, 2021 and a special December 2021 showcase benefit.

You can win up to 4 times by submitting to AniFab. Once being selected, once winning a monthly award, once winning the year-long award in November (we hope to be live-in-person by then - possibly drive in / theater hybrid in Austin, Texas), and once again when you are invited to the December online benefit series to help raise funds for animals in need.

WHAT SORT OF FILMS IS ANIMALIS FABULA FILM FESTIVAL INTERESTED IN?

First: Any movie that has a relationship to/with animals.

Second: We are especially interested in films with strong connections to major issues involving animals.

Third: We love films that can be change agents for animals.

Animalis Fabula Film Festival (AniFab) is THE Animal Story Film Festival. AniFab has very accessible submission fees and is free for some filmmakers who qualify.

You make movies about animals. You love animals. You made a movie about an artist making art to help animals. You love drawing animal animations. The song in your narrative about a bad guy is an allegory about an animal. you get the picture. You do, right?

Animalis Fabula Film Festival is looking to review and present every conceivable movie being made today; from short subject cartoons, to feature length documentaries, and narratives that focus a lens on animals or people interacting with animals.

Real stories, by real people, about animals real or imagined. Animalis Fabula Film Festival is committed to sharing the best “Animal Stories” with the world, beginning with the Animalis Fabula Film Festival every year!

Animalis Fabula Film Festival was founded by Tom McPhee, Executive Director of the World Animal Awareness Society in 2014 after a series of extraordinary experiences inspired Tom to share other people's and organizations' “Animal Stories” with the world. Tom was the creator and Director of FLIXtour in the late 90's, where Paul Feig wrote the cult classic TV series Freaks & Geeks, and Kevin Smith launched his highly successful College/Theater tours.

Animalis Fabula Film Festival - AniFab is managed and hosted by the award-winning 501 (c) 3 media non-profit, World Animal Awareness Society and WA2S Films: https://www.WA2S.org

Though Anifab accepts and streams entries of any kind that has an animal element, we are predominantly searching for movies that showcase either people's extraordinary, unbelievable experiences, or charitable causes and non-profit organizations that are worthy of donation.

AniFab loves documentaries!

We also welcome amateur films or videos from people that may lack technical knowledge but want to showcase a positive initiative, or event not getting enough attention - we may be able to help in certain cases! Our goal as an organization is to bring exposure to everyday stories about animals, raise money for worthy causes, and celebrate the beautiful art of filmmaking.

When submitting, you have the option of giving us permission to upload your film to our YouTube channel with nearly 300,000 subscribers responsible for 50,000 views-and-counting-every-day! Animal Rescue is one of our specialties!
