Amsterdam New Cinema Film Festival promotes creativity and innovation in the film industry, filmmakers from all around the world. The Festival is organized by FILM FACTORY, a collective of professionals from different fields of cinema who are working together to the same aim to sustain independent cinema. We have several events every year in different locations around the city screening films among monthly winners. We had important movie stars among the films in competition as Bella Ramsey, Ian Harvie and many more actors and directors from all around the world.
We created a partnership also with schools of cinema with whom we organize several events too.

All winners receive a certificate (pdf/jpg file)

Rules & Terms

– All fees are non-refundable.
 
– Not all the submissions are selected for the official competition. Our Judges are free to make their own choices and no answers will be given about not selected films.

– Filmmakers can submit the film in multiple categories in order to become a multi-award film. Still, the decision about the selection is strictly determined by our judges’ team and no selection is guaranteed.
 
– Submitting your movie, you authorize the festival to use, distribute and share the film poster, trailer, synopsis and movie stills.

– Films can be available online and still be entered in the competition for our festival. 
 
– Shorts must be less than 50 minutes. Feature more than 52 minutes.

- The films must include English subtitles unless the spoken language is English
 
- We do not require premiere status

- ANCFF reserves the right to determine the date, time, location and film chosen for the screenings.

- All winners receive a certificate (pdf/jpg file)

    The Amsterdam New Cinema Film Festival will always hold a very special place in the history of IVA Delta 7. They were the very first to validate our project when we were completely unknown, awarding us our first-ever WINNER title. Today, as our film travels the world capturing numerous selections and awards, we look back with immense gratitude to this incredible team of curators. They have the rare courage and insight to spot talent early and bet on independent creators right from the start. Exceptional communication and a beautiful dedication to the craft. Thank you for believing in our vision and being part of our history!

    Great to be part of this festival with my video Anima. I'm happy to find a festival like this that has a category specifically for Ai videos as I don't enter Ai videos into festivals unless they are specifically Ai festivals or have that category. Thaks.
