The Amorgos International Film Festival is an annual four-day event co-organized by the Cultural Women’s Association and the Municipality of Amorgos, Greece. Established in 2010 during the 8th YPERIA Convention of Culture and Tourism, the festival showcases hundreds of new short films annually, highlighting cultural and environmental wealth.

The organizers are dedicated and ensure that this event is a success. It all takes place in a magnificent location. The owner of the Aegialis hotel and her staff are very welcoming and kind. It was also very interesting to discover this island. It was an opportunity to meet other filmmakers from around the world. As a Canadian filmmaker, my film "Magnifique Martinique: An island and its people" won 2nd prize in the Documentary category and it was truly an honor to participate in this festival. I highly recommend it!!!
