Poet, musician and multidisciplinary artist born in Algeria and living in France since 1989. As an artistic director, Amine Boucekkine is also known in France for having organized more than 35 sold-out collective or solo multidisciplinary events in Paris throughout the past 15 years. A philosopher by training, he links formal research and experimentation to the visceral rehashing of the eternal questions that inevitably arise in the mind that contemplates its condition. Grace and disgrace entwined, the obsessive quest for a meaning, the radical confrontation with the absurd, the heterogeneity of reality, the deconstruction of identity as well as the inability to know, to do and to express are among the many themes that run through his poetic work and his multidisciplinary approach.
