The American Golden Picture International Film Festival is an annual international film festival featuring one live screening event held each year in June or July.

Notification Date:

On the Notification Date, the Festival Organization and Jury complete the official evaluation process and select the top three highest-scoring films of the year in each competition category. These films are officially selected for the Annual Live Screening Event, and their filmmakers are notified by email.

Event Date:

On the Event Date, the Festival Organization and Jury announce the Best of the Best Winners in each category during the Annual Live Screening Event. Awards are presented following the screening, and Special Jury Awards are also presented to outstanding members of the cast and crew in recognition of their exceptional achievements.

All officially selected filmmakers are invited to attend the Annual Live Screening Event. Due to the international nature of the festival, attendance is optional and depends on each participant's travel availability and personal circumstances.

The "American Golden Picture International Film Festival" aims to help independent filmmakers gain the credibility and publicity they truly deserve.
Your movie will compete with other independent films with world-class talents.
We accept films from all countries over the world, and this is a brilliant opportunity for all filmmakers.

"The American Golden Picture International Film Festival" will Awarded and presented "Golden Certificate" in the following sections to the winners:

- Best Feature long film

- Best Fiction short film

- Best Documentary long film

- Best Documentary short film

- Best Animated long film

- Best Trailer

- Best Poster

And Special Jury Award:

You can also submit your film separately (any Short, Long, Fiction, Documentary, Animated) for the "Special Jury Award". We will Awarded and will present a digital "Certificate" and "Gold Laurel Award" in the following sections to the winners:

- Best Directing

- Best Screenplay

- Best Cinematography

- Best Composing (Original Music)

- Best Editing

-Best Sound

- Best Lead Actor

- Best lead Actress

- Best Supporting Actor

- Best Supporting Actress

- This will be In 3 categories: "Fiction", "Documentary" and "Animated". In each category, there will be 1 winner. The selected films will be screened and receive an annual award.

5- Film Poster

- Promotional film poster can give your film a better chance for great success. A great promotional film Poster is a great marketing tool for any film. The winning film Poster with creator artist name will be published on our website.

6- Film Review & Technical feedback for long length film (Any film over 40 minutes)

-A private written Critique Review & technical feedback- For filmmakers who would receive a review & technical feedback of their film over 40 minutes (Long length film, Feature Narrative or Documentary or Animated). The qualifying jury makes a review on your film that will be obtained at the end of each month (More than 4 pages or more than 600 words).

7- Film Review & technical feedback for Short length film (Any film under 40 minutes)

-A private written Critique Review & technical feedback- For filmmakers who would receive a review & technical feedback of their film under 40 minutes (Short length film, Documentary or Fiction or Animated or Music Video). The qualifying jury makes a review on your film that will be obtained at the end of each month (More than 3 pages or more than 500 words).

8- "Written Public Interview" with Cast & Crew and publish it on Our Website

-We do a special written public interview with each of YOU or any other cast and crew member as the Producer, Director, Cinematographer, Editor, Writer, Composer, Animator, Actor, Actress or Child Actor, then the American Golden Picture Film Festival will publish your interview on its website include your biography, your photos, your website, your IMdb and your social media links. So in this interview not only you talk about yourself, your background, your film, your ability and your expertise in film industry but also the festival introduce you internationally to Film lovers, Filmmakers, Producers, Investors and Distributors. Rules & Terms

- All films and projects submitted must be free from any legal disputes and the filmmaker must have cleared all rights for music and exhibition. On the other hand, Filmmakers and screenwriters retain full rights to their projects and materials that they submit to the American Golden Picture International Film Festival.

- The film festival will have the right to use footage, trailer, posters, stills, synopsis, and/or titles and information from the film for promotional purpose only through FilmFreeway or on the Festival's website and the social media.

- The festival reserves the right to change any information (including festival dates, venues, events, awards and eligibility requirements) without further notice.

- Submission fee is non-refundable.

- There is no limitation for the year of production.

- There is no premiere requirement.

- If you are not a winner, you can submit your film again for the next competition.

- Films can be submitted only through FilmFreeWay.com. We must receive a downloadable link to your film to make sure we have the film in case it is the final winner to be screened in our yearly event.

- All films must be in English or with English subtitle. Non-English language films without subtitle will not be considered.

- In the Film Poster section, you can submit one poster for each time. If you have more, you can submit again for each one.

- The selection committees and juries' decision are final.

- You agree to indemnify and hold harmless us, our officers, affiliates, employees, and partners from any and all claims and liability arising out of entering or transmitting your film or screenplay to the American Golden Picture International Film Festival.
