Alexa Inkeles is a creative producer and filmmaker based in San Francisco. Her original films, a mix of short comedy, drama, and doc, have shown in Frameline, Newfest and London's BFI festivals and more. She was a collaborator on Michelle Tea’s feature film Valencia which won the jury prize for Best Experimental Feature at the PolariFest in Austin, TX. She is one of the creative founders of the award winning film/website the Crash Pad Series and she had a close up facial expression role in a film starring James Franco, Lily Tomlin, and Heather Graham. She currently works as the Creative Lead of video at Pinterest and was formerly a video producer at Twitter and WIRED. Her interests include public stretching, awkward silences, beard bashing, Tina Fey, and the effects of technology on popular culture.
