Born in the south of Italy, from a humble family far from the entertaining industry, Alessia managed to get to Australia, where she lived for 8 years and work in the artistic field first as a portrait photographer, then as a commercial and TV editor. She worked for companies like WeWork, University of Technology Sydney, NBC Universal.
She always had a strong interest in movies and storytelling so she studied Documentary Production and Direction at Sydney University and then Screenwriting at the Australian Film Television and Radio School (AFTRS). With her first short film in Sydney called "Deep Pockets, Empty Hearts" Alessia knows that her future is the movie industry. She moved back to Italy in 2021 and she has worked as Script Supervisor since then, while continuing to write and direct her own pieces. Her focus is women's stories and cultural elements, she loves anthropology and psychology, which helps her build strong and relatable characters.
