Aleister V is a Chilean writer and filmmaker from Santiago whose work explores psychological horror, alienation, identity and the uncanny.
Originally drawn to horror, science fiction and fantasy from an early age, he developed his creative voice through independent filmmaking, fiction writing and experimental audiovisual projects.
His horror fiction has appeared internationally, including “Apartment 315”, adapted from his short story “The Bokor’s Shadow”, on the American podcast Chambers of Horror in 2019, and “El lienzo blanco”, selected for the Latin American rural horror anthology Lamentos del bosque II in 2023.
His debut public short film, Skinbound, screened at multiple genre festivals and exhibitions throughout Latin America and internationally during 2025 and 2026, including Santiago Horror Film Festival, Visceral International Horror Film Festival, and ETREUM Horror Film Festival.
He is currently developing new horror projects while collaborating on independent genre productions in Chile.
