Only short documentary films are accepted.
The deadline for receiving films is October 1, 2024.
The film must be produced in the years 2023 or 2024.
The duration of the film must be no less than two minutes and no more than 25 minutes.
English subtitles must be provided for films in Arabic or other languages, and Arabic subtitles are accepted for films not in Arabic.
The final screening copy of the film must be submitted via a downloadable electronic link that remains available until the end of the film selection process.
The final copy of the film must be in MOV or .FH format (p 1920/1080) and in .MP4 dimensions.
The film must be free of any offensive or immoral content, or content that promotes violence, discrimination, incitement to hatred, or violates public decency.
The film must not have been broadcast on any television channel, internet platform, or shared via mobile phone or any commonly recognized public means.
The film submitter must own all rights, including music and film scripts, and the festival management bears no legal responsibility.
The festival reserves the right to use images and clips from the film for promotional advertisements.
The registration form must be filled out and submitted correctly, and the additional terms must be agreed upon before the registration deadline.
Submitting the film constitutes full consent to participate in the festival.
Submitted films become part of the festival's archive.
Once a film is submitted or selected and announced for acceptance in the festival, it cannot be withdrawn from the festival program under any circumstances.
The type of film must match the type of competition during registration.
The festival does not provide any justifications or reasons for not selecting any submitted film.
Some films may be excluded simply due to accessibility issues or lack of download capability, as well as inaccuracies in the film's data.
The committee has the right not to accept films that have previously participated in the association's competitions (some or all).
The festival has the right to select some films for accompanying screenings on the sidelines of the festival.
