Created by the team behind AI FILM AWARDS, one of the leading global platforms for AI filmmaking, this special edition celebrates innovative creators pushing the boundaries of storytelling in vertical format (9:16). From cinematic short films and AI-generated music videos to viral social content, experimental narratives, fashion films, documentaries, and advertising creations, the festival highlights the future of immersive mobile entertainment.

The rise of platforms such as TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and next-generation mobile streaming has transformed the way audiences consume visual content. AI FILM AWARDS VERTICAL aims to become the premier international stage for filmmakers, digital artists, AI creators, brands, agencies, and storytellers shaping this rapidly evolving industry.

We welcome projects created fully or partially with Artificial Intelligence technologies, including generative video, AI animation, AI-assisted editing, synthetic actors, virtual production, voice generation, and experimental AI workflows.

Selected films may be showcased during live screenings, industry events, networking sessions, online promotions, and special international editions connected to major creative and entertainment events worldwide.

1. AI Vertical Short Film Award

Vertical narrative films created fully or partially using Artificial Intelligence technologies.

Duration: 1 to 15 minutes

2. AI Vertical Mini-Series Award

Vertical episodic storytelling designed for mobile-first audiences and streaming platforms.

Format: Pilot episode or full mini-series presentation
Episode Duration: 30 seconds to 10 minutes per episode

3. AI Vertical Music Video Award

Innovative AI-generated or AI-assisted music videos created in vertical format.

Duration: 30 seconds to 10 minutes

AI Vertical Advertising Awards

Celebrating the future of AI-powered commercial storytelling and branded content in vertical format.

4. AI Fashion Advertising Award

Vertical advertising films promoting fashion brands, luxury products, beauty, jewelry, lifestyle, or runway concepts.

Duration: 15 seconds to 5 minutes

5. AI Physical Product Advertising Award

Commercials and promotional films for consumer products, automotive, food & beverage, electronics, wellness products, cosmetics, and retail items.

All entries must be 100% generated using AI technologies.

Submission Guidelines

By submitting your film, you confirm that your team holds all necessary rights to the content and that its use does not violate third-party rights or require additional fees. Submissions must not contain offensive or unlawful content, infringe on any rights, or promote harmful or discriminatory behaviour.
Any violation may lead to disqualification. You also agree to indemnify the AI Film Awards against any legal consequences arising from such breaches.

Participants are expected to maintain a high level of professionalism and respect throughout the AI Film Awards Festival.

The selection process was transparent and professional.
