Join us for the 5th Annual Ag & Art Film Festival - September 13-17, 2023. The film festival is a celebration of agriculture and of art from around the world. Our films screen at Journey Downtown Theatre, 308 Main Street in historic downtown Vacaville, California.

We screen films that have either agriculture or art as a central theme or a big part of the overall film. We accept documentaries or narratives, micro-shorts, shorts, features or web series. Solano County is a short drive from Napa Valley, San Francisco, and Sacramento.

The Ag & Art Film Festival celebrates agriculture & art through storytelling and cinema. The festival also connects festival goers to local farmers and local artists. Special events include chefs who utilize locally-sourced food and wine and introduce festival-goers to the farmers who grow them.

DeVille Journey in Vacaville, CA was the perfect venue for the 2022 Ag & Art film festival. Tell me. Where else in Solano County can you go for this cultural experiment that educates, spiritually feeds, and emotionally moves you all at the same time. Through her selection of films, Lisa Murray creates an amazing experience where you leave a different person than when you first come in. Meditative, Uplifting, Healing, and Entertaining are words best used to describe the Ag & Art Film Festival. Can’t wait until next year!

What an awesome and beautiful festival. Everyone was so kind and I felt so honored to have The Aftermath as the chosen short narrative. The documentaries chosen were all so meaningful and I loved meeting everyone. Vacaville is also such a great spot! Thank you Lisa and Team!

A welcoming experience for filmmakers! Festival director Lisa Murray is a force of nature who's creative, organized, and provides great communication throughout. The festival is hosted in a restored vintage theater in downtown Vacaville. Highly recommend if you're interested in films with conservation/sustainability or agricultural themes. Winning "Best Ag Short Film 2022" was a bonus for me. Because I had to leave after my screening to fly across the country for another film festival, I was not aware that the Ag & Art Festival did awards until my sister saw the posting on my social media. Thank you for your support!
