Following the resounding success of our inaugural edition in 2025—which saw over 2,500 film submissions from 50 countries—the African SDGs Film Festival (ASFF) is back!

Powered by Chanja Datti, ASFF is a pioneering initiative dedicated to inspiring, educating, and mobilizing communities towards achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by 2030. We provide a unique platform where creative storytelling meets social advocacy, bridging the gap between high-level policy and grassroots action.

As we transition from a foundational event into a continental movement for our 2026 edition, we are calling on visionary storytellers to help us humanize complex development challenges through the powerful medium of cinema.
