Africa Film Fest Australia (AFFA) amplifies the voices of Africa, its global diaspora, and Afro-Australian storytellers who are reshaping the narrative of what it means to belong, to dream, and to create.

Each film is an act of courage, artistry, and reclamation, carrying with it the depth of heritage and the brilliance of new visions for the future.

Africa Film Fest Australia invites filmmakers to submit their short films for consideration in our festival.

Submission Guidelines:

1. Eligibility: Films must be created by filmmakers of African heritage, including African filmmakers based in Australia, across Africa, and throughout the global diaspora.

3. Genres: We welcome films of all genres, including drama, documentary, animation, and experimental.

4. Language: Films in languages other than English should be submitted with English subtitles.
