Abhishek Brahmachari, born on 22nd July 1986 in Varanasi, is an independent filmmaker, writer and editor who is involved in various creative works.
He received his primary and secondary education in Varanasi and Deoria, and graduated in Hindi Literature from Gorakhpur.
He has worked extensively in various forms of writing including songs, screenplays, e-comics, subtitles, translations, news articles etc.
His major works include the music video 'Maha', 'The Surreal City' and 'Khoyi', the short film 'God Loves Pipe', the short documentary 'Kashi Ke Kund', the feature films 'Dansh' and 'Beej', the post-apocalyptic novel 'Professor Vaayumandal' and the short story collection 'Mere Joote Hain Jaaduyee'.
He has written songs for renowned singers such as Kumar Sanu, Anup Jalota, Sonu Nigam and Mamta Sharma.
Brahmachari's works have been appreciated with a variety of awards at film festivals.
