ASTI INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL

MATERIALS REQUIRED FOR THE APPLICATION
The participants must enroll their own film by the 25th of October 2023.
ARE ACCEPTED: .MP4 FILES or link for private viewing
DVDs of films will also be accepted and they will be included in the Festival archive. There is a possibility that the work will be used for non-profit purposes (screenings in schools, cinema experts clubs, etc.)

FOR FOREIGN FILMS: SUBTITLED VERSION IN ITALIAN ARE REQUIRED

For any other kind of usage, The Organisation will have to ask for permission.

SELECTED FILMS
The authors of the selected films will be contacted by the Organisation and will be advised to send the materials requested at moment of selection (photos, texts, dialogue lists…) .
The screening copy of the selected shorts must be sent by the 3th of November 2023.
Important note: the screening copy must be in PAL format. The copies sent in NTSC format will not be screened due to technical incompatibilities.
The shipping costs are paid by the Sender.

FILM SCREENING
The schedule and the programme of the screenings will be specified by the Artistic Direction of the Festival.

GENERAL RULES
Each author is liable for the content of his or her works.
The participants authorize the Festival to use their name and address for all the purposes related to the event. The information in the Entry Form will be published in the catalogue of the Festival and on the Festival’s Website.
The participation in the Festival implies the full understanding of this regulation, and compliance with its terms.
This regulation is issued in both Italian and English. In case of problems or contradictions relating to the interpretation, the Italian version is deemed authentic.
- Foreign films will be screened in their original version with Italian subtitles. For films not in the English language, the producers are invited, if possible, to provide an English subtitled print.
- The Festival Organizers will publish a general catalog of all the participating films.
- Shipping costs will be covered by the entrant, except when other agreements have been made with the Festival Organizers.
- These regulations have been drawn up in Italian and English. In case of dispute, the Italian version will be final.
- The Festival Organizers reserve the right to make decisions on matters not specified herein.
- A Selection Committee (with an advisory brief) made up of film experts will assist the Artistic Directorship in the scouting and selection of works for the Festival.
- The producers and distributors of all films selected undertake to make mention in their publicity and advertising materials (posters, press-kits, trailers, website, etc.) of the selection of the film for the Festival, by featuring the official logo which will be supplied by the Artistic Direction. The logo must not under any circumstances be modified or altered without the prior permission of the Festival.
