Rules & Terms

Submissions start before the AI Film Awards Ceremony
must adhere to the submission guidelines below.
Each entry should provide a clean (no laurels) "Movie Poster" with the submission.

AI Usage Notifications

AI Short & Long Film: 100% of the film must be generated using AI technologies.

Ai video clip: 100% of the film must be generated using AI technologies.

AI-Enhanced Feature Film: AI technologies must have been used in a significant way in the filmmaking process.

AI Documentary: The film must be entirely generated using AI technologies and must provide a factual report on a particular subject.

AI Video Clip: The clip must be short and entirely generated using AI technologies; for example, a music video or commercial, or a piece of art

Ai Special categories: are optional depending on the submissions & partners

Film Duration

AI Short Film: The film must be between 1 and 5 minutes in length.

AI Long Film: The film must be between 5 and 30 minutes in length.

AI Video Clip: The film must be between 0 and 5 minutes in length.

AI Documentary: The film must be between less than 60 minutes in length.

AI-Enhanced Film: The film must be less than 60 minutes in length.

Submission Guidelines:

By submitting your video, you affirm that your team holds all necessary rights to the content and that its use does not infringe on any third-party rights or require additional fees. The submission must not contain offensive or unlawful material, violate any rights, or promote harmful or discriminatory behavior. Violations may lead to disqualification, and you agree to indemnify the AI Film Awards from any legal issues arising from these breaches.

- Intellectual Property:

By submitting a film, the submitter grants the organizers a non-exclusive, worldwide license to exhibit, reproduce, and distribute the film for the purposes of the theater presentation and any related promotional activities of Prometheus Productions LLC. The submitter authorizes Prometheus Productions LLC to publish a 'movie poster' for book development with recognition to the creator.
The submitter retains ownership of the copyright to their film.

Participants are expected to uphold standards of professionalism and respect throughout the festival.
