An innovative single day indoor film festival showcasing the talents of the newest and experimental filmmakers around Dorset. Focussing on reinventing the horror genre. At this festival, independent filmmakers will be given the chance to showcase their projects to journalists, film enthusiasts, and industry professionals, with the added opportunity of networking for potential future creative endeavours.

This may not appeal towards a mainstream film audience, but instead focus on a smaller, niche audience therefore meaning a smaller venue would be acceptable. This will allow networking opportunities for likeminded individuals who may be interested in the film industry.

The festival will feature a wide variety of short films from around Dorset, with a focus on experimental, avant-garde, and arthouse cinema. Our program will include narrative, documentary, and animation films, as well as hybrid forms that defy easy categorization. We welcome submissions from established and emerging filmmakers alike.

Please note, this is currently a fictional student event project about film festivals, please do not submit any film to this site as it will not be shown.

There will be a finale awards ceremony which aims to celebrate the work alternative filmmakers around Dorset have created, with a grand prize of £100 to be won.
