  • What I love about the AFA and the Truth Awards is their philosophy that as Christian filmmakers we are not competing against each other, but are supporting each other and working together to create a great faith-based film industry that can change the world.

It's a newer fest. Only 3 years old started & run by a small church in Knoxville . But I believe they have great things in store for the future. Plans for a bigger venue and film screenings to come. I was very impressed with their categories and judging process and was proud to receive an award by them knowing people who knew what they were doing were the judges. Also former nominees get to judge! Also the quality of their award statuettes are excellent and reflects upon their overall desire for excellence.
