An in-person film festival showcasing bizarre, DIY, extreme, and disturbing films from indie filmmakers around the world. The event features 99 theater seats BUT UP TO 150+, additional seating added as needed. Attendees can enjoy filmmaker introductions and Q&A sessions with the directors, actors, and producers of the selected feature films. As well as check out some vendors of physical goods and media!

Now in its second year, the festival will award best short & best feature of the show!

A Baroque Film Festival – Rules & Submission Terms

Eligibility & Submission Requirements:

- All films must be completed within the year 2026, or be a previously lost/unreleased film receiving its first public showing in 2026.
- Films not in English must include English subtitles.
- Filmmakers must be 18 years of age or older at the time of submission.
- No micro-shorts — submissions must have a minimum runtime of 10 minutes.
- Submissions must contain odd, bizarre, extreme, unsettling, dark-humored, or shocking elements.
**Absolutely no A.I., real death, no real animal harm, and no content involving illegal activity will be accepted. All performers featured in adult content or nudity must be verified adults.**

Festival Policies

- This is an in-person only event with vendors, creators, and attendees present. There will be no online screenings or digital distribution of submitted works.
- All attendees — filmmakers, cast, crew, vendors, and audience members — must be 18 years or older.

Tickets & Attendance

- If your film is selected, complimentary entry tickets will be provided to the filmmaker/producer and main cast members.
- Trailer submissions are not eligible for complimentary tickets.

Awards & Categories

- Prizes are awarded only to films submitted in the Short Film and Feature Film categories.
- Adult and Odd Ends submissions are eligible for awards.
- Trailers are not eligible for any prizes.
