ABRUZZO HORROR FILM FESTIVAL 2026 XII edizione | 26 OCT – 1 NOV 2026 L’AQUILA
BANDO DI CONCORSO COMPETITION ANNOUNCEMENT
La manifestazione si articola nelle seguenti categorie:
The festival is structured in the following categories
Cortometraggi (fino a 30 min.) / Shortfilms (less than 30 minutes)
Lungometraggi (oltre i 70 min. ) / Feature films (more than 70 minutes)
1) Per partecipare alle selezioni dei concorsi Cortometraggi e Lungometraggi, è necessario seguire le procedure attraverso l’iscrizione ai seguenti siti:
To participate to the short / web series / feature selections, you have to use one of the following submission platforms:

2) La partecipazione ha un costo di 10€ a seconda della deadline scelta. Fino al 30 Agosto l’iscrizione ha un costo di 10 € – dal 31 agosto al 30 settembre costo 15€
We have an entry fees of 10 € (one for each deadline choose). Until 30 august is 10€, from 31th august to 30th september 15€
3) Ogni autore può partecipare con più video . Pagando una sola volta la tassa d’iscrizione può inviare una sola opera.
Each author can participate in the Festival with several works and in each category just paying the registration fee (one for each).
4) Ciascun autore risponde del contenuto delle proprie opere
Each author is responsible for the contents of its own work.
5) I cortometraggi in lingue diverse dall’italiano dovranno essere completi di sottotitoli in italiano o inglese (in formato SRT. I sottotitoli impressi sono accettati solo nel caso siano in lingua italiana).
If the dialogues of the film are not in Italian, the film must be completed by Italian or English subtitles. If you don't have Italian subtitles, it's the necessary to send us the English subtitles in SRT format and the dialogue list in case of selection.
6) I video privi della documentazione richiesta o pervenuti oltre il termine suddetto saranno esclusi dalla selezione
Movies received without the requested documentation or sent after the deadline will be excluded from the selection.
7) I video selezionati saranno proiettati in base ad un programma che sarà pubblicato sul sito ufficiale del festival prima dell’inizio della manifestazione, e sottoposti all’esame di una giuria che assegnerà un premio per ciascuna categoria
You will find the screenings program of the selected works on the official website www.aqhorrorfilmfestival.it before the beginning of the Festival itself. Judges will examine each work and award one for each category.
8) In caso di selezione dovrà pervenire al festival entro tre settimane prima dell’inizio della manifestazione il film in versione HD. Nel caso di dialoghi diversi dall’italiano si dovrà inviare al festival una versione del film in HD con i sottotitoli in italiano (impressi o in versione SRT) oppure una versione del film priva di sottotitoli e i sottotitoli in inglese in versione SRT esclusivamente.
In case of selection, a HD copy of the film must be sent to the festival 3 weeks before the beginning of the event. The copy must be free of any subtitles (or ONLY with Italian subtitles burned in). In case you don’t have the Italian subtitles, you must send the English subtitles (even in case of English dialogues) in SRT format. We will create the Italian subtitles that we can send you after the festival if you want to.
9) In caso di selezione, non è possibile ritirare il film dalla competizione.
Once a film is selected, it can not be overdrawn from the competition.
10) Alla fine della competizione verranno assegnati i seguenti premi: Miglior cortometraggio (250 €). Miglior lungometraggio(1000 €). People Choice Award
Best Short Film. Best Feature Film . People Choice Award for the best feature.
11) Abruzzo Horror Festival si farà carico della spedizione dei premi nel caso in cui l'autore non sia presente il giorno della premiazione.
Abruzzo Horror Film Festival will take charge of awards shipping in case the winners are not present the day of the proclamation.
12) Non è previsto il pagamento di alcuna tassa di proiezione agli autori/distributori dei film selezionati.
The festival will not pay any screening fee to the authors/distributors of the selected films.
13) La richiesta di partecipazione a ABRUZZO HORROR FESTIVAL 2026 - XII EDIZIONE implica l'accettazione integrale ed incondizionata del presente regolamento.
The submission at ABRUZZO HORROR FESTIVAL 2026 – XII EDITION constitutes full and unconditional acceptance of this regulation.
