We are holding a very accessible film competition for short films shot on phones, culminating in a prestigious industry event in Hoxton, London. And it is free to enter.
Anyone aged 16 or over can enter, the prizes are good and the screening and awards event will be great fun and good exposure for you.

Duration: 1-3 minutes
Subject matter: films must have a strong narrative/story thread whether they are factual or fiction. Music videos and animation accepted provided they involve a narrative structure

filmmakers will be invited into the Young Presence Community
shortlisted films to be shown on Presence website
runners-up: 1-3 months mentorship with us at Presence Team
winner: 3-6 months mentorship with Presence and 1 year of Adobe subscription or equivalent

Rules & Terms

Shoot a short film on your mobile phone - 9:16 ratio
1-3 minutes in duration (excluding titles)
Shoot entirely on a phone and your work must be your own and original.
You may use any editing/post technique (non phone is allowed)
Ensure you have permission to use any visuals or sounds if you have sampled and credit them in your titles
Please get written consent from performers/artists to be shown in screenings and credit them in your titles
Please submit through Film Freeway by 18/01/24
Notification of selection to shortlist on 22/01/24
Winners to be announced at live event in Hoxton, London on 31/01/24
Entrants of all levels and experience
