454 Productions launched in 2010 to support the film work of experimental artists Jason Egan & Matthew Nash. In 2013 they released "16 Photographs At Ohrdruf, an award-winning Holocaust documentary that has been translated to French & German and screened worldwide. After releasing several shorts, they finished "Walk Away" just prior to the pandemic. The film won several festival awards and was released direct to streaming.
In the summer of 2020, during the height of quarantine, they began work on "Abaddon's Pit" which filmed in summer 2021 and spring 2022. This exciting surrealist thriller is ready for release in 2023!
Jason Egan has a long history in film & television in NYC. He has worked as Production Coordinator on several major films, and recently was Art Department Coordinator for “Law & Order: SVU.” He published the music review site “7 Inches” for over a decade, and ran his own record label Sweaters & Pearls.
Matthew Nash is the director of the award-winning documentary “16 Photographs At Ohrdruf.” He is the Chair of Film at Lesley University, and the former publisher of the magazine Big Red & Shiny.
For a while, Nash & Egan created the music podcast WeListen2Records, on iTunes and Stitcher.
Nash & Egan have collaborated as artists, musicians and filmmakers under the name Harvey Loves Harvey since 1992. They are represented by Gallery Kayafas in Boston.
