The 13 Roses Visionary Film Festival is a curated celebration of emerging filmmakers, bold storytelling, and community-driven creativity. What sets our festival apart is our commitment to uplifting and supporting up-and-coming creatives in the industry by providing a platform that prioritizes fresh perspectives and raw, visionary talent.

Each selected filmmaker will present their work followed by a 5-minute Q&A session, giving the audience—and a panel of invited industry professionals—the opportunity to engage directly with the artist. The event also features a dedicated Industry Q&A Panel, where professionals across film, media, and production will answer questions geared toward those breaking into the industry, offering real insight into navigating the creative landscape.

Throughout the evening, attendees will also have the chance to network with like-minded individuals, fostering new connections, creative collaboration, and future opportunities within an inspiring and inclusive atmosphere.

At the 13 Roses Visionary Film Festival, we intentionally do not offer awards or rankings—because we believe every filmmaker brings something uniquely powerful to the table. Instead of judging, we focus on highlighting raw connectivity, storytelling, and community. Our goal is to celebrate each creative voice equally, creating a space where filmmakers are seen, heard, and supported. By participating, filmmakers gain meaningful exposure, take part in thoughtful conversations with industry professionals, and build genuine connections with fellow creatives that can spark future collaborations and lasting relationships within the industry.

By submitting your work to the 13 Roses Visionary Film Festival, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

Submission Requirements
Submission Deadlines:

Preferred submission deadline: August 8th

Final submission deadline: August 13th
All final versions of films must be submitted through the link provided by the festival organizers.

MUST BE LOCAL TO ATLANTA OR WILLING TO TRAVEL

Film Duration: Films must be approximately 5–10 minutes in length. If your project is shorter or longer, please reach out to us directly for approval.

Post-Film Discussion: All filmmakers must participate in a 5–10 minute Q&A discussion immediately following their screening to engage with the audience and industry professionals.

Active Participation: Filmmakers are expected to stay informed and engaged with all communications sent by the festival team. This includes attending any required meetings or check-ins and responding promptly to requests for information.

Promotional Participation
Pre-Event Filming: All filmmakers must be available for promotional filming prior to the event. This may include interviews, behind-the-scenes content, or marketing materials used for social media, reels, and promo visuals.

Photo & Video Usage: By submitting, you grant 13 Roses permission to use:

Your likeness (photo/video) for festival-related promotional materials, including but not limited to: flyers, trailers, interviews, press kits, and social media content.

Images and clips from your film (up to 30 seconds) for promotional purposes before, during, and after the festival.

Creative Integrity & Community Guidelines
Non-Competitive Nature: The 13 Roses Visionary Film Festival is a non-competitive event. We do not rank or judge films. All selected works are presented equally to foster creativity, raw storytelling, and authentic community connections.

Conduct & Respect: All filmmakers and participants are expected to uphold an atmosphere of mutual respect and inclusivity. Any behavior deemed discriminatory, disruptive, or disrespectful will result in removal from the festival.
