Yusuf Islam was born on October 28, 1998, in Osmaniye. From his childhood, he had a great interest in art and cinema. In his university life, Islam studied various fields, deepening his passion for art and cinema by obtaining education in the Cinema Department of the Faculty of Fine Arts at Gaziantep University. During his education, he honed his skills in film production, screenplay writing, and directing.

He started working in the industry at a young age during his academic years, gaining experience in media companies and production agencies. Simultaneously, he developed his skills in graphic design and won the first place in Turkey in the 100th-anniversary poster competition. His perspective in graphic design brought significant changes to his outlook on art and cinema.

Up to now, Islam has worked on numerous short film sets, directed five short films of his own, and has been actively involved in the film community. In his personal life, he resides with his family, organizes film readings, and operates a small agency, contributing to the industry
