1. BE FUNNY !
2. GOALS AND ARTISTIC IDENTITY OF THE FESTIVAL
Our desire is to give value to humor in films, in all of its forms: satire, farce, burlesque, black humor,
documentary, mockumentary, comedy drama, musical, series, essays, short films, etc. All films that deal
with comedy in any way, without necessarily being labeled as such, can have their place in the program.
Through this both mainstream and film-loving festival, we are searching to break the artificial boundary
separating passionate cinema-enthusiasts and the rest of the spectators, thus offering a unifying event
revolving around humor.

4. CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
4.1
The film (fiction or documentary) must contain, in a central way, a comic dimension. However, we accept
all comic sub-genres (western, horror, romantic, musical, social, etc.)
4.2
The film needs to have been completed on the 1st of November 2017 at the latest, in order to be
considered in the international competition program. In other words, it cannot be dated from more than two
years before its screening at the festival.
4.3
We only accept films that were not released – traditionally speaking – in Switzerland. We do not demand
national, worldwide or international exclusivity. However, premieres will be privileged, especially for the
International Competition. If needed, please explain in which context your film has already been
broadcasted.
4.4
For short films, if the original version is neither in French nor in English, subtitles must be provided in one
of the two languages.
4.5
The maximal length for a short film is of 30 minutes.
