Born and raised in the North East of England, I received my degree in Dramatic Arts from the University of Leeds in 2000. I've been involved with holistic therapy and Arts Programmes, currently serving on the Board of Directors for Queen's Hall in Hexham.

I am a member of Women in Film and Television and a Candidate member of the Writer's Guild of Great Britain. My husband and writing partner is American, providing for a number of entertaining culture clashes, many of which find their way into our writing.
