Tyler Hickman is a multi-award-winning writer, director, and editor based in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Born in Sarasota, Florida, he directed his first feature film (Blood Island) in Belize at age 21. A graduate of the UNC School Of The Arts (BFA), Hickman's short films have screened at over 40 international film festivals - earning dozens of laurels - and he has won numerous honors, including three Regional Emmy Awards and two Forsyth County "Videographer of the Year" titles. (In fact, in 2014 and again in 2018 he was named Forsyth Co. Videographer of the Year.)
