Tyler Hickman was born in Sarasota, Florida. He is a multi-award winning writer, director and editor. He directed the feature-length film "Blood Island" on location in Belize at the age of 21.
Two of his short films have won awards: Slipping Away won "Outstanding Student Film" at the Scene First Film Festival in Wilmington, NC and "The Big Come Down" won "Best Cinematography" at One Take Film Festival in Wilmington, NC in 2007.
In 2014, Tyler won the "Videographer of the Year" award at the Forsyth Country Entertainment Awards.
In 2015, "Aftermath" was officially accepted into the International Online Web Fest wherein actor Tyler Cole received a nomination for Best Actor. This film was also officially accepted into the 2016 Southway International Film Fest.
In 2016, "Uncharted: Drake's Odyssey" was officially accepted into the Fanboy Film Festival.
In 2016, "LZ Lost" was officially accepted into the Riverrun International Film Festival.
