Troy Henriksen is an American painter , writer, musician, film maker. Living and working successfully in Paris, France since 1998. Born in New Bedford Ma 1962.
Troy , too dyslexic for school went out to sea at the age of 15. He soon became a drunken sailor and sobered up at the age of 22. He spent 2 years in a half way house in Boston. He then went back out to sea, and at the age of 26 discovered the magic of art. He soon became obsessed with the process of creating, writing, studying acting, painting , music and getting small roles in indie low budget films. Troy is known for his colorful, bold, and optimistic paintings and has thousands of collectors worldwide. Troy has written four books New Man New Identity (Critéres Editions ) and Lets Get Wasted (Galerie W Editions). He is an established songwriter with French Fries Publishing (Paris) and Universal Music and plays regularly with The Bowling Team (rock) and Troy And The Human Condition (folk). He is the lead singer for both. He has made numerous music videos, one short film Sea Horse and one feature 100mîn A Matador In Paris .
