Edward Monge: A Journey of Courage and Creativity
Edward Monge was born in Costa Rica, but his life’s journey has taken him far from his roots. As a young boy, he and his family moved to the United States in search of new opportunities, a bold step that shaped his future. Growing up, Edward developed a strong sense of purpose and a deep desire to make a difference.
He joined the U.S. Army and proudly served with the 82nd Airborne Division, one of the most prestigious units in the military. His time in the Army taught him discipline, resilience, and teamwork—qualities that would later guide him as he pursued his passions.
After his military service, Edward followed his dream of becoming a filmmaker. He enrolled at the New York Film Academy, where he dedicated himself to mastering the art of storytelling. In 2022, he released Believe, a powerful and inspiring film that resonated with audiences around the world. The film went on to win an astonishing 78 awards, cementing Edward’s place as a filmmaker with a unique and moving perspective.
Building on his success, Edward founded Triangle Multimedia Studios in San Antonio, Texas. The studio became his creative home, where he writes, directs, and edits his own projects while collaborating with others to bring fresh stories to life. His hands-on approach ensures that every project reflects his dedication to authenticity and excellence.
Edward is currently working on his latest passion project, a documentary titled Unknown Encounters. The film explores fascinating and mysterious topics like Bigfoot sightings, alien abductions, and near-death experiences (NDEs). To bring these stories to life, Edward has traveled across the country, interviewing well-known experts and individuals who have experienced these phenomena firsthand. With Unknown Encounters, he aims to open people’s minds to the unknown and spark conversations about the mysteries of our world.
From a young boy in Costa Rica to a decorated soldier, an award-winning filmmaker, and the owner of a thriving production studio, Edward Monge’s story is one of courage, creativity, and perseverance. He continues to inspire others through his work, proving that with passion and determination, anything is possible.
