Toronto Smartphone Film Festival (TSFF) is sad to announce that the 9th TSFF, originally scheduled on June 12-14 2020, is postponed indefinitely following the City of Toronto's COVID-19 health and safety guidelines. We express our solidarity with the city's decisions, and our thoughts are with those affected by COVID-19. We thank our applicants for their submissions and the TSFF community for its support during these difficult times. This decision will impact some critical details including selection announcement, new festival dates, etc. Please stay tuned for further updates and stay safe.

Sincerely, TSFF

I was so grateful to be included in this festival. The communication with organizers was brilliant, and I am sorry I'm on the other side of the world and missed out on the surrounding activities and the main events. But a great opportunity to celebrate the phone filmmakers out there like me itching to be creative and tell stories. Thank you!

Loved being a part of this festival and couldn't fault the organisers or the event, which I enjoyed from the other side of the globe via a live stream. Brilliant festival, well organised team who are passionate about smartphone stories of all kinds.

Thanks for including my film 'The Actor' in your official selection. While I wasn't able to attend, I was pleased with the communication and updates leading up to and including the event and was told by an attendee that it was organised and professional. Would submit again, thanks.
