Tony is the Director of Trans in Trumpland, a four episode documentary series streaming on Topic, Amazon Prime Video, and Apple TV. Trans in Trumpland received critical acclaim, was shortlisted for Emmy eligibility, and was nominated for a GLAAD award. He began directing and producing films in 2012, utilizing his unique voice as a transgender person to portray underrepresented stories.

His film career began with I am the T, a documentary series about transgender experiences in culturally diverse settings. His current and prior films include Finding Cedar, Fratello, I am Isak, and Trans in Trumpland. His films have screened at domestic and international film festivals, including Nashville Film Festival, Richmond International Film Festival, OutFest, Inside Out, and NewFest.
