Tonia Willis is a California -based filmmaker. Tonia is a graduate of Mount Saint Mary's University MFA in Film and Television Producing and Chapman University’s MFA Showrunner program (formerly Television, Writing and Producing).

She is the Founder of the Transmedia Production Company startup CINESCREEN STUDIOS LLC that focuses on multi-platforming content as media extensions to core narratives. She was inspired to become a filmmaker because of her genuine love for storytelling.

Tonia has worked in documentary shorts and writing for stage and screen for over fifteen years. Tonia currently writes, produces and directs film, television, web series, and podcast media.

She wrote, produced and directed the 2026 MASH-UP Pilot for the web series and is working on its universe of properties. She created the Pilot for PSEUDOCIDE: A Tale of Wrath streaming on Vimeo. She is currently marketing a science fiction screenplay, The Dakota Experiments and The Port, a supernatural TV Series.
