Timothy Hall is an independent filmmaker based in Mableton, Georgia. A graduate of the School of Filmmaking at University of North Carolina School of the Arts, he has written and directed five feature length films. His debut feature, "Ordinary Wilderness," premiered at the 2012 Philadelphia Independent Film Festival. His second feature, "Born River Bye," won the Georgia Film Award at the 2017 Atlanta Film Festival and was nominated by the Georgia Film Critics Association for the Oglethorpe Award for Excellence in Georgia Cinema. Hall’s third feature, "Landlocked," marked the feature film debut of Chicago-based transgender activist, Delia Kropp. The film played over thirty film festivals around the world, winning the Gio Stajano Award at Turin, Italy’s Lovers Film Festival, the Jury & Audience Award for Best Feature at the Spokane International Film Festival and the Audience Award at Cinema Diverse: The Palm Springs LGBTQ Film Festival. His fourth feature, "The Pastor's Daughter," had its world premiere at the 2025 Atlanta Film Festival. His fifth feature film, "Summer Lost," made its World Premiere at the 2026 RiverRun International Film Festival. He is currently in pre-production on his sixth feature, "Georgia Georgia Georgia."
