Join us for the Third Annual UCTV Film Festival! We will be showcasing work from creatives in the UConn student body. Anyone currently enrolled at UConn is encouraged to submit their work in accordance with the festival guidelines. This event is designed to be both entertaining, as well as enrich connections between talented and hardworking artists at our school!

Awards & Prizes

Each category's top scorer will be awarded a piece of equipment specific to their medium!

Animation Top Prize: Wacom Intuos Pro Creative Pen Tablet (2025, Small)

Documentary Top Prize: DJI Mic Dual-Transmitter Compact Digital Wireless Microphone System/Recorder

Narrative Top Prize: GVM 800D-RGB LED Light Panel (3-Light Kit)

Rules & Terms

-Only original student work will be accepted–no copyrighted footage or music without proven permission from the copyright owner.

-Only current UConn students can submit their work to the festival.

-Any work featured in previous UCTV events will not be accepted.

-All submissions must be under 20 minutes in length including credits.

-All films with sensitive/mature subject matter or flashing lights must include specific warnings before the film begins.

-Every creative is limited to two submissions only! They may be in separate categories, or the same one.

-All submissions must have been produced within the past 12 months.
