The 2022 WAVE Awards offered an opportunity for our community to see all the great work we are doing and for our staff to receive some well deserved recognition. Four of our eight video entries were chosen to be finalist, and we ended up winning two WAVE Awards. This was a great team building experience, and we are looking forward to participating in next years festival.

    UPDATE:
After two years and three months, I finally received my corrected 2019 WAVE Award plaque today. Thanks to ACM West Board Member Bryan Harley, who got the ball rolling in regards to rectifying the situation, and Rory O'Farrell of Tahoe Truckee Media.
I won the award for Best Experimental Program (Community Producer) in Feb. 2019, and as of 08/2020, I HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY AWARD PLAQUE. Communication with ACM West has been sporadic at best, and always initiated by me. My show was credited as winning the Arts and Entertainment category on their website, and this has never been corrected. I'M VERY DISAPPOINTED BY THIS LACK OF FOLLOW -THROUGH BY ACM WEST.
